    This million-dollar night view is one of Japan’s Three Big Nightscapes. Take Kyushu’s longest cable tram to the summit at an elevation 622 meters. There is an outdoor observation terrace with glow-in-the-dark stones on the deck that resemble the starry skies above! Legend has it that if you can find all seven heart shapes in the glow-in-the-dark stones, you will find true happiness.

    A nighttime panorama of the cityscape and industrial zones spreads out in the direction of Wakamatsu, Tobata and Yahata from the observation deck on top of this 124-meter hill. The scene is dominated by the Wakato Ohashi Bridge stretching over Dokai Bay, and you can also see Hibikinada and Sarakura-san. Take some time by sitting on a bench and relaxing while looking up at the glittering stars.

    This is a very popular date spot for locals. The illuminated Kanmonkyo Bridge stretches out before your eyes and fills your entire field of vision with glittering lights, and you can see the lights of Mojiko Retro Town and downtown Shimonoseki from the observation deck.     There are about 10 parking spaces at the foot of Komonji-yama, and you don’t need to leave the car to see the night view right in front of you. Climb up to the wooden observation deck to see the Kogura nightscape with Sarakura-san in the background. The grass underfoot, covered wooden deck and footlights create a romantic atmosphere.

    A popular space theme park. Space World features exciting roller coasters such as Venus, which boasts Japan’s largest loop at 23 meters, and Zaturn, a new attraction that shoots riders straight up to a height of about 65 meters before plunging them straight down. You can also experience space at the Space Museum and moon rock exhibit.

    This is the largest karst in Kyushu, and its observation deck offers a superb view of magnificent Hiraodai! You can see rare animals and seasonal flora and experience the splendor of nature.     This is a 1,068-meter bridge that connects the Chugoku and Kyushu Expressways. The lights of the city viewed while driving on the bridge and the illuminated bridge viewed from the city are both very neat. We also recommend looking across the channel at night from the Mekari Parking Area. The famous Dan-no-ura and Ganryujima Island are closeby.
